Singareni declares Deepavali bonus

Kothagudem (Khammam): The management of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has granted Rs 40,000 as Deepavali bonus to each of its 61,000 employees. A decision in this regard was taken following an agreement reached by the Coal India with various unions at the national-level at a meeting in Delhi on Friday. Last year, Singareni Collieries paid a Deepavali bonus of Rs 31,500 to each of the employees. A salary advance of Rs 16,000 to each employee would also be paid to 52,000 employees for Dasara festival, according to an official release.
