TJAC To Give Suggestions on Budget Priorities. Responding to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao\'s call to Telangana community to share suggestions and ideas regarding budget priorities, the Telangana JAC has decided to pitch in with its valuable contribution on this subject.

After a steering committee meeting was held in this connection on Sunday, TJAC chairman Prof Kodandaram announced that they would submit their views to Finance Minister Etela Rajender at the earliest.

This exercise, he said, was mainly to reflect aspirations of people from the budget. TJAC directed its ten district units to gather budget priorities, which would be taken into consideration in preparation of the final document. Meetings and workshops will be organised for this purpose in the next few days. Agriculture, power, education and health are some of the key fields that JAC feels should be accorded top priority by the government. Meanwhile, TJAC will even make an appeal to 14th Finance Commission to show some consideration towards newly formed Telangana State and lend necessary financial support to popular schemes of the government.
TJAC members Mallepalli Lakshmaiah, G Deviprasad, C Vittal, T Vivek, Mamatha and Krishna Yadav among others took part.
