Cutout of KCR burnt near TRS Bhavan
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s massive cutout erected at TRS Bhavan in Banjara Hills on Road No. 12 was burnt by a few miscreants late on Wednesday night.
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s massive cutout erected at TRS Bhavan in Banjara Hills on Road No. 12 was burnt by a few miscreants late on Wednesday night.
According to the Banjara Hills police, a few unidentified miscreants have torn the huge cut out of KCR and later set fire to it. TRS activists and KCR's supporters rushed to the spot on learning about the incident and staged a protest and squatted on the road. They blocked the road and created a ruckus about the incident. Police had to intervene and persuade the irate protesters by assuring that the culprits would be brought to book. Police also promised the protesters that miscreants would be identified based on CCTV footage. With this, the protesters pacified and dispersed peacefully.
