According to the officials a total of 3.8 lakh members were considered to eligible for the loan wavier and for waving 25% to all of them will take another 2 weeks. The main reasons for this delay seem to be the rules of district officers and the Bank holidays.
The revenue officers told the media that each and every account will be verified carefully before the loans waive so more the reason for further delay. As the banks will be working again from Tuesday the process will be sped up from the same day.
