Tax holiday on the cards in Telangana?

Hyderabad: Telangana State Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao stated that his government was trying to get tax holiday for the State so that the industrial growth could be put on fast track.
Inaugurating the two-day property show of Andhra Bank as part of ‘Retail Utsav’ at Shilpakala Vedika on Saturday, Harish Rao said the property show would help the common man choose their dream house and also avail of finance which was readily available on the spot.
He said Hyderabad was a fast-developing city and the government was taking all steps to make it a world-class city.
The Minister exuded confidence that because of the excellent infrastructure that was available here, many industries, even from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, would come to Hyderabad. He said the State government would extend all cooperation to Andhra Bank.
Over 30 stalls of builders and car dealers are participating in the show. Andhra Bank General Manager G Ravi Kumar said a team of chartered accounts, engineers and advocates is also available to give guidance to the visitors on the real estate matters. “We are expecting more than 10,000 visitors,” he said.
