Nov. 11 declared as Minority Welfare Day
Meanwhile, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao greeted Muslims on the eve of birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first union education minister of independent India.
The government decided to observe his birth anniversary on November 11 as the Minority Welfare Day from this year onwards. The CM and Deputy CM Mahmood Ali will take part in official programmes being organised at Ravindra Bharathi on Tuesday.
