30 percent fitment for the electricity department employees

Hyderabad: Telangana government decided to increase the fitment up to 30 percent as a part of the salary re assessment. It is already known that the power department requested finance ministry for the 35 percent salary fitment.

Initially Chief Minister KCR decided to give 27.5 percent, but the employees expressed their discomfort. They reminded that the government promised same scale payments as that of the NTPC employees. This made the government to give 30 percent fitment.
