More Cong MLAs to join TRS
Even as the Speaker of Telangana Assembly, S Madhusudhanachary, is examining disciplinary proceedings against two Congress MLAs Redya Naik and K Yadaiah who have defected to TRS, and on the other, the TRS is continuing with its ‘Operation Akarsh.’
‘Operation Akarsh’ by TRS continues
Hyderabad: Even as the Speaker of Telangana Assembly, S Madhusudhanachary, is examining disciplinary proceedings against two Congress MLAs Redya Naik and K Yadaiah who have defected to TRS, and on the other, the TRS is continuing with its ‘Operation Akarsh.’
If one goes by what Deputy Chief Minister T Rajaiah says, as many as 10 MLAs of the Congress are ready to join the TRS. He said that the Congress MLAs are eagerly waiting for the green signal of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for their induction into the party.
This move, the party leaders feel, would give great political advantage to the pink party as it would lower the morale of the opposition parties, particularly the Congress party which is in disarray. The Congress leaders, it may be recalled, do not see eye to eye on any issue and their lack of unity was seen when the party issued whip for its members on the appropriation bill in Assembly and failed to implement it.
