He advised the staff to work sincerely with commitment, and not in fear.

Rajender promised that the government would strive to achieve ‘Bangaru Telangana’ on the same lines as the TRS conducted itself during the separatist agitation. He pledged to issue ration cards to all FP shop dealers irrespective of the size of a village. If the dealers were found to be incurring losses their commission would be increased.

However, at the same the government would not hesitate to take strong action if they resorted to corrupt practices, the Minister warned. He was given a representation seeking TRS ticket in the Legislative Council elections to Subhaprad Patel, who was active during the Telangana agitation.

Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy, local MLA Sanjiva Rao, TNGOs’ Association leaders Deviprasad, Vittal, and Ranga Reddy collector Sridhar attended the building inaugural function.
