Nalgonda ZPTC chief joins TRS

Hyderabad: In a big jolt to the Congress, Nalgonda Zilla Parishad chairman N Balu Naik on Tuesday joined TRS in the presence of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at the party office Telangana Bhavan here.

Naik, who was the lone ZP chairman representing the Congress in Telangana, was made the TRS in-charge to Devarakonda Assembly constituency at his joining ceremony where a huge number of ZPTC (Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency) members and Mandal Parishad presidents from the districts also switched loyalties to the ruling party. With Balu Naik joining the pink party, all districts in Telangana will now have TRS ZPTC chairpersons.
