CMO Toll-Free Number Receives 200 Complaints. Of the 200 complaints received by the Chief Minister’s Office (toll-free number 040-23454071) from Ranga Reddy district, half of them are stated to be from the town itself. They pertain to Revenue, Housing and Civil Supplies departments.

Following the complaints, inquiries are to be launched against an inspector of a circle, one MRO and two MPDOs. Charges of graft have been levelled against several VROs. The Telangana ACB Director-General has reportedly instructed the department officials to summon the complainants in connection with the proposed inquiries. Understandably, officials facing complaints are a scared lot. Residents of the town are hopeful that lodging complaints to the toll-free number would pave the way for ending corrupt practices and throw a scare into officials.
