Hyderabad: Telangana Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy announced that the government will be providing Tata Sumo and Bolero vehicles to all the police stations in the State within a week. While launching the ‘Cashless Enforcement Scheme’ at the city police commissionerate, he said police stations in all districts in Telangana would be given vehicles for making the State police provide their best services to the citizens. Further, he said change of dress for police would give an impression of being working for a developed country.
The Minister further added the top experts from across the world were studying Hyderabad for improving traffic conditions. While recalling Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s words, Naini said the government was working in the direction of making the city without signals, where flyovers would provide a freeway for traffic in all directions.
