Further delay in TS job notification likely, Aspirants, who have been waiting for a notification from the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), may have to wait for at least a month or two.

Hyderabad: Aspirants, who have been waiting for a notification from the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), may have to wait for at least a month or two.

According to the sources in the Commission, notifications would be released only after Kamalanathan Committee submits its reports to the government over the allocation of employees between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

“The exact number of vacancies can be known once the division of employees between the two states is completed. The government has taken stock of the situation,” said an official of the commission.

Another reason for the delayed notifications is the issue of contract employees, who are demanding regularisation.
“The government constituted an 18-member committee to look into the regularisation of contract employees. If the regularisation is completed, a major hurdle for the notification will be cleared,” said the official.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who had promised on age relaxation for job recruitment, is contemplating enhancing age limit to 40 years.

Meanwhile, TSPSC Chairman Prof Ghanta Chakrapani met Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Wednesday and thanked him for releasing budget for the commission. The academic committee, which was formed by the Commission, will meet for the last time on Thursday.
