Telangana Information Technology Associations (TITA) ambitious green revolution project ‘TITA GREEN PLEDGE’ found overwhelming support from top bureaucrats of Hyderabad police & ACB. The Telangana State Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director General Mr. AK Khan and Hyderabad Police Commissioner M. Mahendar Reddy have taken up the ‘TITA Green Pledge’ at their offices.
Telangana Information Technology Associations (TITA) ambitious green revolution project ‘TITA GREEN PLEDGE’ found overwhelming support from top bureaucrats of Hyderabad police & ACB. The Telangana State Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director General Mr. AK Khan and Hyderabad Police Commissioner M. Mahendar Reddy have taken up the ‘TITA Green Pledge’ at their offices.
AK. Khan hailed the environmental initiative taken by the members of the Telangana Information Technology Association by taking the GREEN PLEDGE.
Speaking on the occasion, he requested TITA global committee members to spread awareness on ill practices of corruption in the society and the impact it causes to the social wellbeing.
Society at large should be encouraged to adopt non corrupt practices in their daily walks of life and embrace green practices highlighted in the TITA GREEN PLEDGE. Hyderabad Police Commissioner M. Mahendar Reddy was exited to know the role of IT employees in safeguarding the environment.
He has enquired about the various social initiatives taken by the Telangana Information Technology Association and its participation in the upbringing of the rural students and unemployed youth.
He had appreciated the efforts being taken by the IT association in safeguarding the greenery and conserving the nature. The green pledge covers various simple day to day activities which impact the environmental sustainability.
“TITA Green pledge is accepted by planting a tree and pledging by it to protect by watering, mulching and removing litter. Replacing plastic bags with reusable shopping bags, turning off electrical appliances when not in use, Conserving water, Minimizing pollution and Recycle e- waste are some of the other aspects included in this pledge.
TITA Green Pledge initiative is a long-term vision of developing sustainable environment in Telangana State, which focuses from the ground up, working hand in hand with Telangana Government, public service partners and corporate. TITA will support and actively participate in Telangana Government ambitious project Haritha Haaram”, said TITA Founder & President Sundeep Makthala.
“TITA understands the immense damage being caused to the environment by rapid urbanization and is of the view that by bringing small changes to our life style will bring significant impact to preserve the nature.” said TITA Organizing Secretary Gavalla Ranjith.
