KCR blames vastu for non-starter schemes

The proverbial Vastu concern of the Telangana Chief Minister is all set to leave its mark on the greenery in the Secretariat. Three 20-year-old trees and a 2000-sqft green belt will be demolished in the Secretariat adjacent to A and B blocks to make way for a clockwise entry of KCR to his chambers on the sixth floor of the C block. Presently, the entry of his caravan is anti-clock wise around the Pochamma temple. The chief minister considers this as inauspicious and against the spirit of Vastu which has made things difficult for his seven-month-old TRS rule in the Telangana state.

KCR's vastu concerns are well known with the changes he made in his chambers, at camp office, separate entry gates to the Secretariat and also changing the color of his fleet of vehicles from black to white and numbering them all as multiple sixes. Many of his officials have also followed suit and demolished walls even in their chambers.

The latest change in circumventing entry of his caravan around the Pochamma temple in the secretariat has its genesis to host of setbacks in the party and governance. KCR is unhappy over the Rajaiah episode, the rollback on FAST and several bottle necks in administration due to presence of AP in Hyderabad Though landmark schemes like Asara (pensions ), water grid, Kakatiya mission etc were launched, KCR feels that he and his government did not get proper mileage due to it.

'The Andhra Pradesh government is working against the spirit of bifurcation and refuses to accept the writing on wall that they have to go one day or the other. All the TDP leadership is doing is to somehow perpetuate their existence in Hyderabad with the goal to destabilize the TRS government," said a senior TRS minister at yesterday's marathon extended session of the party plenary.

Actually, the TRS chief and his men are always irritated and indignant over the pomposity and pretentiousness of the AP ministers and CM Chandrababu Naidu and also the bureaucrats. "They fail to notice that they can use our establishment to run their administration 250 kms away, beyond that they have no ownership of legitimacy in Hyderabad."

The TRS is also unhappy about the slanging match let loose by TDP leadership day-in-day out. "We can also counter them on the same wave length, but our leader has directed us not to waste time and energy as he believes the TDP objective is to just disturb us as we have successfully implemented loan waiver, pensions, industrial policy, healthcare promises and also tackled power and manpower shortfalls. "Come what may we will not allow the AP and TDP leadership to continue their hegemony in Hyderabad and Telangana. The TDP is hoping and day dreaming for TRS to collapse and they would take over in both states."
