Services to be regularised, says Speaker Chary

Hyderabad: Telangana Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudhana Chary on Sunday said the TRS Government would take a decision to regularise the services of contract employees in the State while releasing a calendar brought out by Anti Retro Viral Therapy Centre and Aids Control Employees here.

The Speaker assured that the State Government would take a favorable decision on regularising the services of the contract employees, who played a key role in achieving statehood for Telangana.

“Telangana got statehood with united efforts of all sections of people and justice will be done to all sections”, he remarked.

“I will take up the issue with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who readily agreed to give new lease of life to the contract employees, he said. Besides regularising the services, efforts would be made to release their salary arrears, he said.

The Speaker expressed concern over the social stigma of keeping the HIV patients away from their vicinity.
“This is not correct”, he said. He also appreciated the contract employees for providing the HIV patients the best services.
