Tortured 2-year-old girl abandoned at bus stand
Even before one could forget the tragic tale of four-year-old girl Shahista Saba who was allegedly subjected to torture at her home and succumbed to injuries last month, another girl with injuries was found here on Wednesday night.The two-year-old girl with injuries on her feet and shoulders was found near the old bus stand here.
Sangareddy (Medak): Even before one could forget the tragic tale of four-year-old girl Shahista Saba who was allegedly subjected to torture at her home and succumbed to injuries last month, another girl with injuries was found here on Wednesday night.The two-year-old girl with injuries on her feet and shoulders was found near the old bus stand here.
The injuries were similar to that found on the body of Shahista Saba. The two-year-old girl was shifted to Shishu Vihar and from there to Sangareddy District Hospital for treatment. It was not known if the girl was abandoned by her parents. Medical tests were conducted on the girl at the hospital on Thursday. The results would be out on Friday.According to hospital sources, the girl was provided proper diet and medication. She is reported to be recovering.
