Hyderabad: There are no takers for Room No-235 in D Block of Secretariat. Although there is a severe shortage of spacious chambers to accommodate Ministers and Parliament Secretaries, none seems to be interested in occupying it. The reason for the scare is that Room No-235 belonged to T Rajaiah when he was the Deputy Chief Minister. But in view of his unceremonious exit from the Cabinet, this room has become a bad omen for power centres in the Telangana government.

Despite a spacious anti-room to take rest, a big hall to accommodate visitors and peshis beside it, everyone is giving big thumbs down to it when asked by General Administration department to occupy the room. Rajaiah effect is such that even the furniture and tables are being rejected. All the Cabinet Ministers and senior bureaucrats have their chambers in D-Block.
