A report on the real extent of the farmers’ problems along with subsequent suicides in each district since the formation of Telangana is to be submitted within a week in time for the budget session of assembly and Parliament by all the district collectors to the Telengana government.


Unable to face the debt trap along with other social issues arising out of unemployment, poverty and crop failures etc the NGO, civil society organizations state that 330 farmers have committed suicide.


According to the statistics, 184 farmers died in 2011; 147 in 2012; 112 in 2013; 15 till June 2014.


The Government has woken up to reality with the gravity of situation in villages and the severity of unemployment. Now, a true assessment of farmers suicides is being enquired amidst the allegations of TDP that the deaths are over thousands.
