Hyderabad: Siddipet in Medak district received 10 cm of rainfall on Friday. Heavy showers were also reported in parts of Warangal, Khammam and Karimnagar districts. The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) were: Dornakal, Bayyaram 4 each, Mallial, Mahabubabad 3 each, Shamirpet and Garla 2 each.

On Friday and Saturday isolated rain occurred in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Ramagiri in Anantapur district received 5 cm of rainfall while Bobbili recorded 3 cm. On Friday, the maximum temperature fell at one or two places in Andhra Pradesh, markedly rose at one or two places in Coastal AP.

It was below normal at a few places in Telangana, at one or two places in coastal AP, above normal at a few places in Rayalaseema and markedly above normal at one or two places in the rest of coastal AP. Machilipatnam recorded the highest maximum temperature of 37 degree Celsius.

The minimum temperature fell at one or two places in Rayalaseema. It was above normal at a few places in Andhra Pradesh and at one or two places in Telangana. Forecast: Isolated rain or thundershowers may occur in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on March 8 and in Telangana on March 9, 10 and 11.
