Progress of women helps in nation’s development
The International Women’s Day celebrations were organised on a grand scale at Malla Reddy Engineering College for Women at Maisammaguda in Medchal mandal on Saturday. Malkajgiri MP Malla Reddy was the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, Reddy observed that development of the country was possible when women progressed in all spheres of life.

Malkajgiri MP Malla Reddy was the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, Reddy observed that development of the country was possible when women progressed in all spheres of life.
The MP said his educational institutions got more recognition after he established colleges for women. Reddy advised girl students to come up in life without getting discouraged. He gave away prizes to winners of various competitions organised in connection with the International Women’s Day. Cultural programmes presented by students enthralled the audience. Veteran actor Kaikala Satyanarayana, Cantonment Board Chief Executive Officer Sujata Gupta, college staff and students attended.
