Sangareddy (Medak): Village Revenue Assistants (VRAs) under the banner of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate here on Thursday demanding that the State government should hike their salaries. They raised slogans against the government.
Earlier, the VRAs organised a rally from the ITI to the Collectorate. Addressing the VRAs, the CITU leaders demanded that the Telangana government should pay a minimum salary of Rs 15,000 per month. They alleged that the government was showing negligence to increase salaries for VRAs, who are providing all services at village-level.
