Provide power connections to borewells.District Collector D Ronald Ross on Thursday instructed the Transco and Dwama officials to immediately provide electricity connections to the borewells which were dug under Indira Jala Prabha scheme.
Nizamabad: District Collector D Ronald Ross on Thursday instructed the Transco and Dwama officials to immediately provide electricity connections to the borewells which were dug under Indira Jala Prabha scheme.

The Collector conducted a meeting with Transco and Dwama officials and reviewed on the progress of Indira Jala Prabha scheme. Collector Ross said that 656 borewells were dug under the scheme and only 461 electricity connections were allotted so far and remaining 195 connections were pending for the last few years.
He said the Transco officials should give priority to these pending connections immediately. He asked the electricity DEs and Dwama field officers to give daily progress report to him on these connections and the functioning of the connections. Dwama PD Venkateshwarlu, Transco SE Prabhakar and other officers of Dwama and Transco attended the meeting.
