KCR vows to ensure all round development for Telangana
KCR: TRS govt to ensure all round development With being elected as the President of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) for the eighth consecutive term, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) on Friday, he acknowledged his commitment to the state and put forth the achievements of the 10 month old government.

At the TRS Party’s plenary session in LB Stadium, the party showcased the Telangana traditions and culture while a variety of state's delicacies were served to the 36,000 gathering of delegates from across the state. Recalling the struggle to achieving the statehood for Telangana, KCR vowed to ensure the all-round development of Telangana with a focus on welfare of weaker sections, infrastructure, power and irrigation.
He said that the TRS government was able to fulfill the election promises including loan waiver for farmers, increase in social security pensions to senior citizens, the disabled and women. Assuring that there would be no power cuts in the future for the state; KCR said that the government has drawn up plans to augment power production by 24,000 MW in the coming three years.
TRS party also passed resolutions on development of Hyderabad as a global city, 'Mission Kakatiya' (renovation of tanks) and welfare of SCs, other weaker sections among others.
