Talasani Sriunivas YadavSays he will quit politics if he does not retain Sanathnagar seat

Hyderabad: TRS Minister Talasani Sriunivas Yadav on Thursday reiterated his challenge of quitting active politics if he failed to get re-elected from Sanathnagar Assembly Constituency in by-elections when-ever it was held.

Interacting with the media, on the eve of the TRS party’s plenary being organized in the city in a grand manner, Srinivas Yadav, who had quit TDP and joined TRS to become a Minister, made this assertion while launching a scathing attack on TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu and TTDP MLA E.

Dayakar Rao. Demanding to know why Dayakar Rao had clandestinely met Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao some time ago, Srinivas Yadav accused the TDP MLA as a blackmailer and incompetent person. Describing all the leaders in TDP as “collection kings”, he charged that Dayakar Rao was surviving on the alms thrown in by the TDP supremo.

He also justified the defection of Kishan Reddy from TDP into TRS by stating that the Ibrahimpatnam MLA was disappointed and dejected with the TDP and joined TRS since he realised that KCR was going all out to make Telangana a prosperous state. He said Naidu has no ethics or moral rights to tour Telangana districts as he had utterly failed to develop Mahabubnagar district after adopting it during the TDP regime.
