The Government of Telangana has come up with a stand to block all the adult content that is available for free on the Internet. With CID been given the job to identify the porn websites along with the Facebook accounts that avail porn, they have come up with a list of 5000 Facebook pages and 1500 websites promoting the adult content.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who constituted a special committee that decided that viewing adult or pornographic content is one of the contributors that have lead to the crime against women.


The Government of Telangana has come up with a stand to block all the adult content that is available for free on the Internet. With CID been given the job to identify the porn websites along with the Facebook accounts that avail porn, they have come up with a list of 5000 Facebook pages and 1500 websites promoting the adult content.


The Home Ministry of Telangana has received a report from the CID on the list of websites. On behalf of Telangana government, the Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy has forwarded the website list to Central Government as the Internet Service Providers require a clear directive from Department of Telecommunication to ban a particular site.


Even though these suggestions have been raised in the past, a serious action has not taken place, with this move, Telangana government hopes to succeed.
