To highlight the problems faced by farmers, the 44-year-old Amethi MP visited the family of Velma Rajeshwar, who committed suicide due to debt burden. He also visited another farmer’s family and handed over a cheque of Rs 1 lakh.

TRS responded to the allegations by stating that the Congress should not play politics on farmer issues.
Rahul Gandhi earlier visited Maharashtra and Punjab undertaking padayatras, interacting with farmers.
