KCR’s behaviour a big blot on democracy: BJP

Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday accused the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) of indulging in low-level politics just to win an additional MLC seat. Speaking to media persons here, BJP floor leader in Assembly Dr K Lakshman alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had triggered the number game for MLC elections only to weaken the Opposition parties.

He said KCR's behaviour was a big blot on democracy. He alleged that the Chief Minister had stooped down to a low level to establish his supremacy. Lakshman said the TDP-BJP combine had sufficient numbers to win the MLC elections. He said all six MLAs of BJP would support the TDP candidate in the MLC polls being held on Monday.
