The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) court on Wednesday granted 12 hour relief to Telangana TDP MLA Revanth Reddy from 6 am to 6 pm on Thursday.

The Telangana TDP leader has been arrested in connection with the 'cash-for-vote' scandal. Revanth Reddy was granted interim bail for 12 hours to attend his daughter's engagement, scheduled on June 11.

The ACB had arrested Revanth for allegedly trying to bribe a nominated MLA to vote for the TDP nominee in the MLC polls. It is learnt that Revanth Reddy's lawyers had sought bail on the grounds that his daughter's event was fixed for tomorrow and his presence is required.
