TS govt permits Muslim employees to leave at 4 pm for prayers. The Telangana Government has permitted all the government employees, belonging to Muslim religion, including teachers and out-sourcing employees to leave their offices/schools at 4 pm on all working days during the holy month of Ramzan.
Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has permitted all the government employees, belonging to Muslim religion, including teachers and out-sourcing employees to leave their offices/schools at 4 pm on all working days during the holy month of Ramzan. Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma issued a circular memo on Wednesday in this regard and said that all Muslim employees would be permitted to leave offices at 4 pm from June 18 to July 17 (both days inclusive) to perform necessary rituals, except when their presence is required due to exigencies of services during the holy month.
