Foolproof security to be in place. Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma on Tuesday directed the officials to make foolproof arrangements for President Pranab Mukherjee’s visit to the State from June 29 to July 8.

Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma on Tuesday directed the officials to make foolproof arrangements for President Pranab Mukherjee’s visit to the State from June 29 to July 8. During a high-level review meeting with officials of all key departments at Secretariat here, he asked them to make all security arrangements and setting up of CCTV cameras in Rashtrapathi Nilayam at Bollarum in Secunderabad.

He also asked the officials to set up helipads at necessary points including Hakimpet Airport, repair roads and ensure uninterrupted power supply with generators besides focusing on special sanitation drives at various places. The Chief Secretary also asked them to review a meeting with officials concerned on the proposed visit of the President to Yadagirigutta to launch the government flagship program of Haritha Haaram. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao urged in a letter addressed to the President to launch the greenery project on July 3, he said.
