DS: KCR only can realize dream of 'Golden Telangana'
Former PCC President and Congress leader D Srinivas on Thursday made a switch and joined the TRS party in the presence of Telangana Chief Minister and TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao who welcomed him into the party by offering the \'Khanduva\'.

Addressing the media, D Srinivas said that his friendship with KCR goes decades back and that TRS was formed with the sole aim of achieving statehood for Telangana. Observing that Telangana was formed due to KCR's proximity to Sonia Gandhi, DS repeated that he fought for Telangana statehood by constitutional means.
DS said that the credit for uniting Telangana people and letting the statehood become a reality goes to KCR after 60-year struggle which is why only the Chief Minister can realize the dream of 'Bangaru Telangana' [Golden Telangana].
While a large number of the leader's followers arrived at the TRS Bhavan on the ocassion, DS hoped that both AP and Telangana would compete in development instead Chandrababu was stalling works in Telangana state.
