Speaking to press persons at Kandakurthi – a sacred place of “Triveni Sangamam” in Nizamabad district, he said that special arrangements are made for bathing despite there is no flood waters here. The people can get rid of from the sins by taking a holy dip in this place, he remarked. The minister maintained that at the directive of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao the official machinery is able to conduct the pushkar festivities effectively. KCR appointed a special officer for arrangements at each pushkar ghat and the devotees are able to get immediate darshan of the deity after taking a holy dip.

The minister said that adequate funds are being spent for the festivities and wheel chairs were provided for physically disabled and special buses for elderly persons to reach the ghats.
“ We are able to see happiness on the faces of the people coming for pushkaralu, he maintained. Srinivas Reddy also stated that those coming from Rajahmundry, Srikakulam, Nellore and other states expressed content that the arrangements in Telangana pushkar ghats are far better than Andhra Pradesh.
He appreciated the officials for efficient coordination to ensure that the devotees take holy dip in a hassle-free manner and have the darshan of presiding deities on the banks of the rivers near the pushkar ghats.
