The GRP on Thursday rescued 94 children who were said to be bonded labourers from from the Falaknuma Express at the Secunderabad railway station.

The GRP on Thursday rescued 94 children who were said to be bonded labourers from from the Falaknuma Express at the Secunderabad railway station.


The kids were being brought from Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar and West Bengal. The children were mostly below 18 years old and refused to reveal any information about their employers.


Police informed that the children claimed that they were madrasa students who had gone for Id-ul-Fitr. The police are looking for the agents who managed to escape as they suspected that the children were brought to be employed in Hyderabad.
