Biometric access at KBR Park. The Telangana State government on Sunday installed biometric system at two entrance gates of Kasu Brahamanada Reddy National Park at Jubilee Hills here. It was intended for security and safety of the walkers and visitors to the park.

Hyderabad: The Telangana State government on Sunday installed biometric system at two entrance gates of Kasu Brahamanada Reddy National Park at Jubilee Hills here. It was intended for security and safety of the walkers and visitors to the park.

The biometric system is in addition to the existing 32 CCTV cameras at all important places in the park and at the entrance gates. Telangana State Principal Chief P K Sarma and Conservator of Wild Life Vinay Kumar said the visitors and walkers were required to swipe their smart cards or affix their thumb impression to gain entry into the park.

Konda Mohan, Divisional forest Officer, KBR Park said, the bio-metric system in the Park was first of its kind in India. This would help enhance the security, prevent entry of unauthorised and anti-social elements into the Park, he added. He appealed to the visitors and pass-holders to cooperate with the security staff.
