Governor greets Muslims on Bakrid. Governor ESL Narasimhan extended his wishes to Muslims of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States on the occasion of Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) to be celebrated on Friday.

Hyderabad: Governor ESL Narasimhan extended his wishes to Muslims of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States on the occasion of Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) to be celebrated on Friday. "On the solemn occasion of Id- Ul- Zuha, I extend my cordial greetings and good wishes to all my Muslim brethren. Bakrid symbolises sacrifice, absolute devotion to God and compassion for the poor.

It also emphasises the principle of sharing what one has with others. Let this spirit of charity and goodwill towards all be cherished and nourished," the Governor said in his message. In separate messages, Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrashekar Rao and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also greeted the Muslims on the occasion of Id-ul-Zuha.
