Mamunuru (Warangal): One person died and two others sustained injuries when a speeding rammed into a stationary truck with the load of iron rods near Timmapuram cross road on Warangal-Khammam highway.
Mamunuru SI Hathiram Naik said that Kanikireddy Rajkumar, 30, and his brother’s son Amarnath, and friend Manda Srinivas were returning on a car after attending a marriage function in Nellikuduru mandal on Friday night when the mishap occurred.
Rajkumar died on the spot and Amarnath and Srinivas sustained serious injuries, the SI said here on Sunday. The injured were rushed to MGM hospital at Warangal, according to police.
