Birkur (Nizamabad): Girijan students took out a massive rally here on Thursday under the aegis of Girijan Reservation Sadhana Samiti demanding implementation of 12 per cent reservations to the Girijans.
The Girijan students launched the rally at Kamappa Junction and the rally culminated in a meeting at the Tahsildar office. Naresh Rathode, state working president of Girijan Sangham, demanded the implementation of 12 per cent reservations.
Later, the Girijan student leaders submitted a memorandum to Tahsildar Prasad. Student leaders Jagadish, Vasu, Ravi, Premdas, Raju and others participated.
