Speaking to the media at Ramayampeta in Medak district, Krishnaiah said that 50 percent reservation is needed for the BCs and that will happen when it has a separate political party.

Earlier, it was rumored that Krishnaiah was all set ready to leave the Telugu Desam Party to join the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. It is learnt that Krishnaiah has been upset over the fact that he was neglected by the party High Command after the polls.It is worth recalling here that Krishnaiah was declared as the Chief Ministerial candidate of Telugu Desam Party in Telangana state, during the election campaigning of Chandrababu Naidu.
