Hyderabad: TRS party MPs Jithender Reddy and K Kesava Rao said they would rake up State’s issues in Parliament session beginning from Thursday. Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, they said they would not disrupt Parliament proceedings as the nation needs its session to address many issues, but will make sure that the State’s issues get addressed.

“The Centre is yet to fulfill its promises of High Court division and implementation of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. Our party has made 13 proposals to the parliamentary affairs wing, and we will take up the issues after waiting for seven days in the session. TRS is not demanding anything more than what the Centre promised to implement the Act,” they said.

Besides High Court division, the Centre has to accord national status to Pranahitha Chevella project, they said. “We will sure press the government regarding cotton purchase, salaries hike for Asha workers and other issues,” they said informing that they have urged the Centre to give Rs 1,000 crore to Telangana government towards 231 drought-affected mandals.
