Karimnagar: Satavahana University Contract Teacher’s Welfare Association (SUCTWA) wanted the State government to implement its promise of regularising the services of contract lecturers as early as possible.

Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, SUCTWA president Dr D Yashwanth Rao thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his recent statement that the process of regularisation of contract employees would be started within two months period.

Though a number of well qualified persons have worked on contract basis in various universities of Telangana since the last 20 years, the Andhra rulers did not take any decision on the issue.

Stating that the future of these unemployed youth was depended on the government’s decision, he wanted the government to speed up the process.
