Warangal: Denouncing the uncertainty surrounding the conduct of Teachers Eligibility Test (TET), the Telangana State DEd and DSC Applicants Association members staged a protest in front of the District Education Office here on Saturday.

The leaders of the Association found fault with the administration for postponing the TET, which was scheduled to hold on January 24.

“Earlier, the officials cited that the test was deferred due to the ‘Code of Conduct’ in view of the Warangal Lok Sabha bypoll, but even after the election, the authorities have not given any clarity on the test,” the leaders said, demanding a clarity whether the government was going to conduct TET and DSC separately or together.

The leaders expressed fear that TET would be delayed further with the Election Commission’s announcement for Legislative Council elections from Local Body Constituencies, and Narayankhed Assembly by-election, GHMC and GWMC civic polls to follow.

Association state president Ravula Rammohan Reddy, vice-president Guguloth Srinu Naik, general secretary Dharavath Ravi, Alwal Madhusudan, Sampath Chary, Ashok, Bharathi, Supriya and Harish were among others present at the protect.
