Khanapuram (Warangal): Representatives of UNESCO visited the Pakala Lake in Khanapuram mandal on Saturday. The team participated in the world heritage conference at Narsampet.

UNESCO national secretary Birendra, Bhatnagar, vice-president Nagendranath Mishra addressing the media said that the people should preserve the Pakala Lake which is popular as pollution-free lake in the world. Fifty representatives from all the states and union territories in the country were in the team and noted environmentalist Ramaswamy accompanied them.
