BJP demands release of schedule for 2BHK houses
BJP State president G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday demanded that the TRS government release the schedule for construction of 10,000 units of 2BHK houses in the city, whose foundation stone was laid by IT & Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao and other Ministers recently.

Hyderabad: BJP State president G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday demanded that the TRS government release the schedule for construction of 10,000 units of 2BHK houses in the city, whose foundation stone was laid by IT & Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao and other Ministers recently.
Speaking to media persons here, Kishan Reddy accused the TRS government of misleading the people with false promises on the issue of construction of 2BHK houses.
He said except for completion of a few hundred units in IDH Colony, nothing has been done for weaker section housing.
He said the State government has no plans or funds to implement the scheme, and demanded the government to release the complete schedule of construction of all 10,000 units if it was serious about its implementation.
Kishan Reddy said the BJP government at the Centre has sanctioned 67,794 houses in Telangana under various schemes. However, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao have been trying to take credit for Central government schemes. He also slammed the IT Minister for criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not visiting Telangana State. He said the State government never invited the Prime Minister for any function.
