Following the high alert announced by the Union Home Ministry after the terror attacks taking place at the Indian Air Force base at Pathankot in Punjab, the authorities at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad have restricted the entry of visitors inside the airport.

The authorities issued statements saying that the visitors who come to the airport to drop off relatives and family won't be allowed for a week or 10 days and stated that the restrictions will be lifted after the intelligence agencies issue a clearance. All the major airports across the country are on high alert with high security beefed up due to the ongoing terror attacks in Punjab.
