Telangana Jagruthi conducts Rangoli competitions
Telangana Jagruthi on Tuesday conducted Rangoli competitions at NG College Grounds for women on the occasion of Sankranti festival here. With the Rangoli designs by the participants, the ground of NG College wore a festive look and turned colourful. Women in large numbers participated in the Rangoli competitions with great enthusiasm.
Nalgonda: Telangana Jagruthi on Tuesday conducted Rangoli competitions at NG College Grounds for women on the occasion of Sankranti festival here. With the Rangoli designs by the participants, the ground of NG College wore a festive look and turned colourful. Women in large numbers participated in the Rangoli competitions with great enthusiasm.
Speaking on the occasion, Telangana Jagruthi district convenor Bonagiri Devendar said that Telangana Jagruthi had played a key role in statehood agitation and now was contributing in building the new State. It would also be in the forefront in protecting Telangana culture and traditions as well as in achieving Bangaru Telangana, he added.
He said that they would also conduct free coaching classes for the aspirants of competitive exams. In the Rangoli competitions, B Susheela won first prize receiving Rs 3,000 cash, B Kranthi got second prize and received Rs 2,000 and N Srilatha won third prize of Rs 1,000.
