Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who maintained cordial relationship till recently, were conspicuous by their absence at the “At Home” party arranged by Governor E S L Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan on the 67th Republic Day celebrations on Tuesday.

When the media asked E S L Narasimhan about the absence of the two CMs, he said that he was not aware of the reasons. The governor, however, said that his relations with both the CMs are cordial.

It appears that they reportedly refused to meet each other as it would send wrong signals in view of the ensuing GHMC elections.

Several prominent celebrities including media baron Ramoji Rao attended the governor's 'At Home' party.
