Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu inaugurated the fest in the presence of SVS Group of Colleges Chairman Errabelli Tirumal Rao, Vice-Chairperson Errabelli Suvarna and Secretary Errabelli Anoop. Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner asked the students to practice handling disappointments in life with ease which he said was key to success. 

Warangal: The three-day cultural and sports fest ‘Spring Fire-16’ being organised by SVS Group of Institutions has began in a grand manner on Thursday. The inaugural ceremony of the event took place at the SVS Engineering College at Bheemaram in Hanamkonda. Large numbers of students of engineering, pharmacy, management and polytechnic colleges run by the group have been taking part in the event which concludes on January 30.

Success alone could not make a person great but tackling failures with perfection helps a person become matured. Addressing the students, Chairman Tirumal Rao, who is also the president of Telangana Professional Colleges’ Managements Association, said they were striving to explore the creative talents in the students, besides offering quality education.

The institution was working to fulfil the ambitions of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao who was making serious efforts to quality of education officered by professional colleges in Telangana. In the three-day event, 150 plus events in performing arts, musical events, fine arts, photography, literary, sports and technical sessions were being held, he added.
