Pie-eyed minor rams car into ex-ministers house
In a freak mishap, a 16-year-old boy, apparently under the influence of alcohol, crashed his car into a former Union Minister’s house at Jubilee Hills on Sunday. He was s taken into custody by the Jubilee Hills police for indulging in drunk driving and causing accident.
Hyderabad: In a freak mishap, a 16-year-old boy, apparently under the influence of alcohol, crashed his car into a former Union Minister’s house at Jubilee Hills on Sunday. He was s taken into custody by the Jubilee Hills police for indulging in drunk driving and causing accident.
The incident took place on Sunday afternoon, when four minor boys, who had consumed liquor at some place in Madhapur, were heading towards Jubilee Hills in a car (AP 09 CB 9288).
As soon as the car reached Road Number 52 in Jubilee Hills, the drunk driver lost control over the car and crashed into the security post erected in front of former Union Minister P Shivashankar’s house. The car was equipped with air bags and none of the four suffered injuries.
The drunk driver was taken into custody and the car was seized, the Jubilee Hills police said adding that the car was registered in the name of one Gokaraju Nagaraju.
