Bhadrachalam: The padayatra of 57 devotees of Lord Hanuman reached Bhadrachalam on Monday.

All-India Akhil Bharat Hare Rama Hare Krishna Foundation has organised the padayatra from Kakinada to Bhadrachalam and this is the fifth padayatra since 2003.

The participants travelled 275 km while writing ‘Srirama namam’ 30 crore times, said honorary president of the Foundation, Dusarlapudi Ramana Raju.

The foundation plans to install ‘Bhadradri Seeta, Rama, Lakshmana Stupam’ in Kakinada. On February 14, free food will be served to about 5,000 devotees in Kakinada.

The padayatra was intended to educate the future generations about the values of ‘Haindava Dharma’, he added.
